Motion writing (NO: Bevegelsesskrift) is consisting of images that move, not limited to time and space. It is cared by many, but beheld by Maria Storm-Gran, so it will not drift.
Pre-cinematic (before the moving images stole our time, when it still had depth as in a story out of necessity, from the necessaty to expand time as watching paint dry, taking care of colors, waiting for the winds or mapping outside of already consisting constellations), tried to tell stories in the shadows of the fires, a blind singing the songs of the story, making it move. The intention to get the images to move, that one line becomes the other. What was is becoming. Pre-cinematically one image, even if it is almost still, is connected with the image before, the image after, the image next to it, and the image within. There has to be connections, I ask.
WITHIN, trying to be nearby, there is a looking for belonging, experiencing the same things from different perspectives, and transformations from one image to another, subjectively, in common.
